LAUSANNE, Switzerland -- The verdict in Maria Sharapovas appeal against a two-year doping ban will be announced Tuesday.The Court of Arbitration for Sport says it will issue the decision at 3 p.m. local time.Sharapova challenged an International Tennis Federation ban imposed after she tested positive at the Australian Open for meldonium.An ITF panel found that the Russian did not intend to cheat but was at very significant fault.Sharapova acknowledged taking meldonium before each match in Melbourne, saying she was not aware it had been banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency.Sharapova said she had been prescribed the Latvian-made heart drug since 2006.
